Is there any way to automatically send a twitter whenever you post something to DW?

I know there are plenty of ways to send your tweets to DW, but I want to do itthe other way around, have something along the lines of 'Faintdreams posted something new over at Dreamwidth - read it here at [link] or better yet at bit.ly (or some other shortneing service - dont care whcih ).

Does anything like that already exsist at all?

If it doesn't exsists would I need to look at the twitter API or the Dreamwidth one to see how hard this might be to build ?
